                                                                               CVFD Membership Application

Active Member:

An Active member of the Department shall be defined as any member in good-standing, meeting the criteria below and the course/certification requirements in the previously approved SOG numbered III.A. Active members are entitled to the rights and privileges as defined in the Department Bylaws. This includes, but is not limited to, voting rights, pagers, radios, turnout gear, etc.

Requirements: 

25% of calls

5 business meetings a year

7 training meetings a year

50% of events/clean-up details 

Junior Member:

A Junior member of the Department shall be defined as any member who is between the ages of 16 and 18 meeting the criteria below and the course/certification requirements in the previously approved SOG numbered III.A.

Requirements:

Maintain a “C” average in school and report their grades to the President at the end of each respective reporting period of their school system. If the member fails to maintain the “C” average, they will be placed on probation until the next reporting of their grades, at which time if improvement has not been made, they will be suspended and further action will be decided by the Membership Committee.

15% of calls

4 business meetings a year

8 training meetings a year

50% of events/clean-up details
